Frank Gayer Martin picked up the guitar and lifted his voice at the age of thirteen. Born in Houston, transplanted as kid to Colorado, Martin was hooked by the wounded charisma of Gram Parson which lead to the taproots of Americana – Bob Wills, Bill Monroe, Clifton Chenier, Buck Owens – and all things Hee Haw.

Martin lives in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, sings and plays guitar, mandolin, lap slide and lap steel. He plays electric guitar and steel (lap steel with benders) with the HWY 82 BAND He also plays guitar with the Symphony in the Valley for their annual Bib Band Swing Show.

Listen to Frank Martin on Steve Skinner’s Echos Podcast
“Frank Martin is a quadruple threat. He sings. He plays guitars and mandolins. He writes songs. He is an octopus with fingers flyings in all directions.
“Frank’s four-way skill set empowers him to be one of the best musicians in the valley.
“Right here, right now, in this Roaring Fork Valley, as consumers of great music, our cup runneth over. Frank Martin has just refilled it with a new recording called, “Blue on Blue on Blue.”
